This more contagious strain is almost certainly in other parts of the country but the nation’s limited testing program might miss it

Sharing an “extra” edition with this latest news. The more contagious variant of SARS-CoV-2 that was first identified in the United Kingdom has been found in Colorado. Experts are nearly certain it is in other places based on how far from Britain it has already been found. However, the USA’s limited surveillance testing is likely to miss many cases, even as the system improves.
